Hope everybody has had a good Easter! We start our new term on Monday 28th April when, for the next three weeks, Raymond Hon will be conducting us in:
• Beethoven’s Symphony No.1
• Rossini – Overture to “The Barber of Seville”
• Strauss – Overture to “Die Fledermaus”
This summer term will comprise six rehearsals in total with a break for Victoria Day (Mon 19th May).
For the three weeks from Monday 26th May, Peter will be back conducting is in:
• Beethoven’s 6th Symphony ‘The Pastoral’
• Mendelssohn’s Overture “The Hebrides”
• Ramsay Kay: Cioch na H-Oighe’ Overture, op. 5
